Blast in brothel kills at least 10



An explosion in the red light district of northern Nigeria's Bauchi city has killed 10 people and injured 14 others, police said Saturday. Egypt bomb blast kills girl, wounds mom



 
A homemade bomb placed in a government construction site on the outskirts of Cairo exploded Saturday, killing a girl and wounding her mother, an Egyptian security official said. The official said assailants placed the device in a government telecommunication building under construction in 6 October district.

Nairaland might be offline for longer than expected



Popular online forum, Nairaland, has been offline since Sunday and comments by the founder and worrying viewers that it would not be back anytime soon, HumanIPO reports. The forum is currently one of Nigeria’s most visited sites, but current visitors are being shown an Error 522, which according to the hosting company means that something is hogging all the resources on the site. Founder, Seun Osewa, took to Twitter to talk about the situation apologizing and alluding to the fact that the situation might be more dire than he expected and might take longer for it to be online again.
