Nairaland might be offline for longer than expected
Popular online forum, Nairaland, has been offline
since Sunday and comments by the founder and worrying viewers that it would not
be back anytime soon, HumanIPO reports. The forum is currently one of Nigeria’s
most visited sites, but current visitors are being shown an Error 522, which according
to the hosting company means that something is hogging all the resources on the
site. Founder, Seun Osewa, took to Twitter to talk about the situation apologizing
and alluding to the fact that the situation might be more dire than he expected
and might take longer for it to be online again. It may be worse than you
think. “It may take much longer than you expect.”
