Fayose releases another advert against Buhari

With the dust raised over his controversial death wish advert yet to settle, Gov Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State on Wednesday released another advert targeted at the personality of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari.

Fayose was heavily criticized for wishing Buhari dead in the advert published in two national dailies on Monday

The new advert, which was published on page 9 of Wednesday's edition of Punch newspapers ,listed the ages of former leaders of Nigeria since independence.

He then stated that Buhari was too told for the job considering the ages of the former leaders.

He then went ahead to quote Gov. Babatunde Fashola of Lagos to buttress his point.

Fashola had during one of the APC governorship rallies said that when he took over the job at the age of 44, he was counting the number of white hair on his head but today he is rather counting the number of black hair on his head.

Continuing, Fashola said this job is a tough job that needs youthfulness.

Fayose latched on that and said Nigeria does not need a 72 year old president.
