Teen accused of raping 80-year-old blind woman

A teenager, Avoseh Satingo, was arraigned before Yaba chief magistrate’s court in Lagos for allegedly raping an 80-year-old blind woman, Vanguard reports. The 19-year-old suspect was said to
have raped the woman in her room on February 17. The magistrate, Yewande Aje-Afunwa, ordered the suspect, who was arrested by members of the community and handed over to the police, be remanded in prison for further investigation.
